Both 6th classes had a very enjoyable school tour in Dublin
recently. We visited Dáil Éireann, had a picnic in St. Stephen’s
Green, went to JumpZone and had great fun shopping in Liffey Valley
Shopping Centre. Our sincere thanks to Deputy Alan Dillon and his
constituency office staff for facilitating our trip to Dáil Éireann.

Our school is beautifully situated beside Breaffy Wood, two miles east of Castlebar on the main Castlebar-Galway road. There are 415 pupils on the roll. This is a mixed school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class. We have twenty-six teachers, one SNAs, a secretary , a caretaker and a cleaner.
