A feast of football today in Breaffy, as almost 100 children took part in our annual Faye Lavin Memorial Tournament. Petrina Lavin presented the Cup and Shield to the winning captains, Taylor Lee and Áine. Well done to all involved!

Liam Shevlin and Gerry Jennings were the referees.. Sean Grealis was the main organiser of the days events. Our principal welcomed Petrina Lavin on the special day in our school calendar remembering Faye fondly for her talents in sport and music. Mr Moran thanked Mr Grealis and all the teachers involved who support sport in our school. Mr Moran commented on the standard of respect and sportsmanship that was expected and delivered on the day. There were 8 teams with a cup and a shield final.
