The child has one intuitive aim: self development
6 th Class went to Glasnevin Cemetery, Jump Zone and Liffey Valley on their school tour .
Their bus failed to restart after stopping at Apple Green on the way up and this caused some delay .
However a replacement bus came within 40 mins and they caught up with the other bus .
Fortunate for all the breakdown couldn’t have happened in a more convenient and safe spot.
All was forgotten by the time they got to use their confirmation money in Liffey Valley !

Our school is beautifully situated beside Breaffy Wood, two miles east of Castlebar on the main Castlebar-Galway road. There are 415 pupils on the roll. This is a mixed school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class. We have twenty-six teachers, one SNAs, a secretary , a caretaker and a cleaner.
