Our 3rd/4th class girls cross country athletics team who enjoyed great success winning silver medals in Belleek on Thursday 28th September They now go forward to represent our school in the Connaught Cross Country Competition in Loughrea in October. Well done girls!
A special mention to Niamh Moran (4th Class) who won gold in this event . This was a super achievement . A first for Breaffy ! Well done to their coach Brid Tuohy .

Our school is beautifully situated beside Breaffy Wood, two miles east of Castlebar on the main Castlebar-Galway road. There are 415 pupils on the roll. This is a mixed school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class. We have twenty-six teachers, one SNAs, a secretary , a caretaker and a cleaner.
