Ms Deirdre Mannion in an effort to bring some excitement to all classes in the build up to Christmas lead and liaised with all class teachers do that we had w whole school Advent Calendar Event with something exciting happening everyday if the build up. It proved very interesting for all classes and certainly added to the excitement.

Best wishes to all in our school community and a special thanks to our pupils , staff and parents for buying in to the Covid Reopening plan and keeping it going. We will have to maintain these measures for the coming New Year until things stabilise. Wishing you and yours a safe Christmas and New Year. Seoirse

We recently purchased a second set of 30 iPads for 4th to 6th class . 6th Class are busy here working with Book Creator along with their teacher Liam Shevlin .

Pupils in Breaffy NS will have some space in The Cusack Stand for the All Ireland . Their art work …. over 100 pieces of Mayo Jerseys will be on display there !! Well done to all !!!

Ms Feeney’s Class have produced some lovely art work of Santa going down the chimney and maybe getting stuck ! Thank God he can manage all chimneys !  

Ms Fergus has some lovely Christmas scene artwork on display in the rear foyer.  

Well done to Aaron in 6th Class for winning the Mayo News – Mayo for Sam Art Competition . Aaron is in Mr Liam Shevlin’s class and his artistic interpretation of Mayo For Sam at Christmas won the competition outright . We are delighted for Aaron and his proud parents.
