On Monday last, after the Holy Communion Ceremonies on Saturday 22nd April we had a thanksgiving mass in Breaffy Church at 9.30 pm and refreshments in the school hall after that. The boys and girls came in in their Communion outfits and they looked great.

Well done and thanks to our Parents’ Assoc for their hard work in preparing a fabulous treat for all families after the 11 am and 1 pm Communion Ceremonies in Breaffy Church. Special thanks to Jenifer Kelleher ( Chairoerson ) and Karen Kissane ( Treasurer for leading the organisation of this event .

1st Class A are really enjoying our football coaching with Gerry from Breaffy GAA. We have been very busy over the last few weeks learning and practicing new football skills.

Mr. Shevlin’s fifth class were busy this week learning all about weather systems in Science. We then made various weather measuring instruments in groups! Great collaboration and fun was enjoyed by all. The pupils also recently presented their PowerPoint projects on a city/country of their choice. They  researched, then created some excellent projects full of super facts, photos and information! […]

Ms Egan’s 1st class had a great day on World Book Day dressing up as their favourite characters and decorating their favourite book covers.
