On Thursday 28th of February 22 our athletes accompanied by Brid Tuohy & John Moran made a 6 am start to travel to Abbotstown for Indoor Team Championships in athletics for primary schools .The motivation for this event is to promote physical activity and introduce students to sport as a lifetime experience that fosters good health. This was a mixed competition for 5th & 6th Class boys and girls. The emphasis was on team effort.Congrats to all who travelled .
Special mention to Maeve who came first in the shotput to Jude who came second in 60 m sprint and Alan who came third in 600m. Maith Sibh !
