Pupils in Mr. Duignan’s class have been busy learning about coding and developing coding skills for the past months. This week they have presented the games that they have designed and coded and were visited by members of our robotics team to discuss their coding experiences with designing and coding a robot. Our school is beautifully situated beside Breaffy Wood, two miles east of Castlebar on the main Castlebar-Galway road. There are 415 pupils on the roll. This is a mixed school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class. We have twenty-six teachers, one SNAs, a secretary , a caretaker and a cleaner.
