What a wonderful day for Breaffy NS as our Girls claimed the Cumann na mBunscol Division 1A County Title for the fifth year in a row, after a tremendous performance against a very talented Quay, Ballina Team. The final was played McHale Park with great support from our pupils, parents, staff and Board of Management.
This followed on from our Connacht Mini-Sevens Title a few weeks ago. Under the guidance of Mr Grealis, Ms Mannion, Ms Commons, and all of the teachers who give of their time so willingly, our panel of 34 dedicated Girls worked hard all year, refining their skills and building a wonderful camaraderie.
Today, they certainly reaped their rewards. Today also say the first official outing of our new school mascot, a soft cuddly life size wolf in a Breaffy GAA jersey, the work of Rang 5 !

Our Girls aren’t finished yet, however! Next week our Girls 5 a side Soccer Team, coached by Mr Hennelly, Ms Tuohy-Ward and Mr Duggan head to the Aviva Stadium as Connacht Champions for the All Ireland Finals.
