Students from Ms. Slattery’s class painted some beautiful Autumn forests. They also created their own leaf rubbings using lots of different colours.  

Mr Fadian’s first class have had busy few weeks learning all about Autumn.  They have done some lovely artwork too which reflects their learning about hedgehogs and squirrels. They have also been collecting signs of Autumn whilst on nature walks.

Our teachers working with Junior Infants presented an information night for parents tonight in our school. We were very pleased to return to school and admire the very creative colourful mural and Astra Turf groundworks undertaken by  our Parents’ Association. Jenifer Smith Chairperson along with Karen Kissane Treasurer, developed this project along with Orla Cunningham’s ( Parent)  graphic design expertise. Check out the photos from Thursdays 3rd class trip to Achill. The children enjoyed a surfing lesson on Keel Beach and a visit to Achill aquarium. Thankfully the weather gods were smiling on us! A great day was had by all.
