The child has one intuitive aim: self development
Lauren and Aoife were running for 5th and 6th class girls. Lauren came 5th ( individual medal ) and Aoife came 13th out of 104 girls.
Naomi was running in the 3rd and 4th class girls. Naomi came in 4th position out of 138 girls.
They were representing Breaffy school at the Connacht cross country competition in Mohill County Leitrim on 12th October.
We are delighted with their significant success representing our school with distinction.

Our school is beautifully situated beside Breaffy Wood, two miles east of Castlebar on the main Castlebar-Galway road. There are 415 pupils on the roll. This is a mixed school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class. We have twenty-six teachers, one SNAs, a secretary , a caretaker and a cleaner.
