Lá Glas & Ceilí Mór

Bhí lá glas Íontach againn ar an Aoine.
bhi na páistí go léir ag rince , ag ceol agus ag canadh sa halla don Chéilí Mór.

Ni hamháin sin ach bhi na múinteoiri ag seinm ceoil, ag rince agus ag casadh amhráin sa halla freisin.

Táimid buíoch freisin do na hiarscoláirí a showing ceol lenár scoláirí féin.
One of our favourite schoollife days took place on Friday with our Lá Glas & Céilí Môr. Ms Mannion taught sean nós dance to the infants , Céili dance to all the other classes and rince na scan to Rang 6.The dances were broken up with all classes singing Grace , A Nation Once Again , Killagh ! And Amhrán Na bhfiann. We were also entertained by our Scór groups – Ballad Group and Instrumental Group.
Several of our teachers played their instruments with the pupils to accompany the dances .

Special thanks to Ms Mannion for her hard work with all classes and to all our teachers for teaching the songs to all the children. A great team effort !
