The 2nd Class pupils in Mr. Duignan’s class have been busy all through World Book Week, from developing comic strips, to live draw-along with authors David O’Connell and Jim Smith, along with reading buddies with Ms Skeffington’s senior infants, and surveying school staff about their favourite novels from primary school to the big dress up day today! Everyone had great fun!

Our school is beautifully situated beside Breaffy Wood, two miles east of Castlebar on the main Castlebar-Galway road. There are 415 pupils on the roll. This is a mixed school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class. We have twenty-six teachers, one SNAs, a secretary , a caretaker and a cleaner.
