The child has one intuitive aim: self development
Last week Mr. Moran and Mr. Canny’s sixth classes participated in an exciting Art project which produced some brilliant results. Their project was based on the ‘Getty Challenge’, a global initiative which has seen thousands of people worldwide re-imagine their favourite works of art in new and exciting ways.
They have put together a slide show of their endeavours.

Our school is beautifully situated beside Breaffy Wood, two miles east of Castlebar on the main Castlebar-Galway road. There are 415 pupils on the roll. This is a mixed school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class. We have twenty-six teachers, one SNAs, a secretary , a caretaker and a cleaner.
