Dear Parents ,
It is very important to note that the marking for Drumcondra English tests changed for all classes this year from 1st to 6th class.
There is no change to Sigma results for maths .
This year’s Drumcondra results can not be compared with last years as it is a different marking scheme .The previous test was outdated and revised.
Sten scores this year can be lower than last year in many cases . This change is not a reflection on your child’s attainment this year as it is an entirely new revised test .

1st & 2nd marking doesn’t have Sten this year but new grades called , Criterion reached , approaching criterion or criterion not reached.

These results only measure these areas on a particular day . They can not and 
do not measure other strengths that your child has .
