What a fantastic performance by our Robotics team at the National Robotics final in MTU Cork. Despite a 5a.m. start and a long journey they scored brilliantly in both the driving and coding sections of the competition and came agonisingly close to winning on the day. The whole school is extremely proud of their efforts. The team were accompanied by Mr Duggan, Mr Hennelly, Mr Moran and Ms McCormack on the day.

Our school is beautifully situated beside Breaffy Wood, two miles east of Castlebar on the main Castlebar-Galway road. There are 415 pupils on the roll. This is a mixed school catering for pupils from infants to sixth class. We have twenty-six teachers, one SNAs, a secretary , a caretaker and a cleaner.
