We Recommend Breaffy NS Highly

Our three children all attended St. John’s NS Breaffy and had a very positive experience all through the school. In particular our eldest son was fortunate to be a student there when he was diagnosed with a specific debilitating condition in 1st class. Through the following years in Breaffy NS he was supported by the most compassionate and caring staff who went above and beyond in their efforts to ensure his particular needs were met. He was included in every facet of school life and when he needed supports they were there for him, no questions asked and often down to the resources of the school on its own. He had resource teaching, SNA support and more importantly he had staff that were willing to learn about his condition and help him and his peers navigate some turbulent years. He is now well settled into secondary school and a large part of his success in second level is due to the great start he got in Breaffy. It is fair to say that all our children flourished in many ways during their time in Breaffy NS. We cannot thank the principal and staff enough for their dedication, commitment and support they all gave to each of our children but especially to our eldest who needed that bit extra – we were always confident that he would get what he needed when he needed it. We would recommend Breaffy NS highly to any parent as it is a school which is pupil-centred with dedicated and experienced staff who go the extra distance to ensure that every child is welcomed, included, supported, and educated to the best of their ability from Junior Infants to 6th class.
