Our 6th class robotics team had great success at the VEX ATU robotics cup in ATU Mayo recently when they scooped the teamwork challenge award after 13 tough matches against teams from around Ireland, including the All-Ireland champions from Donegal. Both 6th classes had a very enjoyable school tour in Dublin recently. We visited Dáil Éireann, had a picnic in St. Stephen’s Green, went to JumpZone and had great fun shopping in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre. Our sincere thanks to Deputy Alan Dillon and his constituency office staff for facilitating our trip to Dáil Éireann.

1st class recently learned all about the lifecycle of the sunflower. We then decided it would be best to see the lifecycle in action! 1st class worked so hard planting and looking after their own individual plants. Well done 1st class, we can’t wait to see the beautiful sunflowers very soon.
