Rang 2 enjoyed gymnastic sequences in their pods integrating gymnastics with arguably the Science of motion !…. …… motion is the phenomenon in which an object changes its position. Motion is mathematically described in terms of displacement, distance, velocity, acceleration, speed, and time. !!  

Ms Mahon’s First class really enjoyed their science experiments this week.

Mr Moran’s 4th class held their Science Fair this week for Science Week 2021. Incredible detail and effort went into all their projects with plenty of fun and learning along the way. Well done everyone!

An té a chuireann san earrach .. baineann sé san fhómhair !!!! ( he who sows in spring reaps the harvest  in autumn !) Both 5th classes working under the guidance of Mr Grealis & Mr Duffy preparing the raised beds after harvesting our own homegrown veg there recently . Maith Sibh !!  

Both  Mr Duffy’s & Mr Grealis’ classes had a lovely outdoor geography field study trip to the Booster Station . A great day as usual was had by all and a lovely break from the books that reenergised them all for more work ! One of our new teachers Ms Cliodhna Mc Hugh travelled with them.  

Brilliant results from Belleek today. Girls 3/4th team Gold medal 🥇 and a 1st place individually for Isabelle hanrahan! Boys 3/4th team bronze medal 🥉…. Both 6th Classes travelled to and climbed to the summit of the Booster Station . Upon reaching the summit they enjoyed the views of the surrounding countryside. A great day was had by all. Aimsir bhreá amuigh faoin spéir ! Mr Duggan and Mr Hennelly are their class teachers and Ms Tuohy travelled with them .

Both 4th Classes , Ms Gallen’s & Mr Moran’s along with Ms Fergus had a very enjoyable experience enjoying the extensive views from Manulla to Clew Bay.
