Mr Duffy’s 5th Class and Mr Grealis’ 5th Class had a very enjoyable trip to the Booster Ststion recently. Beannaithe le aimsir bhreá, bhí lá íontach acu amuigh faoin spéir gheal ghorm!      

We are delighted to participate in the National Childrens Choir Programme again. Our rehearsals have commenced and this is lead by Connie Fergus. We have a lot to look forward to in the spring !

Our athletes had a very successful day today at the grounds of Beleek Castle. Our girls  won two of the four events… Gold ! 15 medals in total… 2 teams and 3 individuals. Congratulations to our local Breaffy GAA rounders team that are now All- Ireland Champions. They are coached by Gráinne Fahey.

Our school has great success in Ballyvary recently at the West Mayo Cross Country – 23 medals (5 individuals and 3 teams. Well done and thanks to their teacher and coach Bríd Tuohy who trained and prepared them for this great athletic event.  

We are very grateful to our Parents’ Assoc and to Fiachra Moran – Carra Catering who pulled out all the stops last night for our Grad Celebration in our school hall last night. Mr Duffy who organises the after-school golf on Wednesdays, organised a day of golf for his golfing enthusiasts in Balla Golf Course. This gives participants a great taste of a golf course and who knows there might a future Padrsig Harrington there.!  

mr Liam Mr Liam Shevlin organised a football tournament for Rang 2 yesterday . it was a great success and we were blessed with good weather.
