Time to Read Initiative

Both our second classes participated in a Business in Education –‘ Time To Read ‘ initiative over the past twenty weeks. Our Deputy Principal, Mairead Murphy co- ordinates this Literacy initiative with the second class teachers Ms Nestor and Ms Mannion. Every Thursday volunteers from Mayo County Council come to our Aistear Room and Library to work in partnership with pupils in both classes.
