Ms Gallen’s 4th Class visited Turlough House today to meet their pen pals from Behy NS.

Well done to both our girls and boys Gaelic football teams who played brilliantly today. Our Boys defeated Kiltimagh in their semi- final and they will play Claremorris in the County Final. Our Girls defeated Ballaghaderreen in their semi-final and they will play Ballinrobe in their County Final. Both finals will take place next Tuesday in Bekan.

Mr Minogue’s & Mr Maxwell’s Class went to Achill  today for their school tour. Ms Commons , Ms Doherty & Mr Tunney also travelled with them. The weather there looked more promising than the damp morning they left behind them in Breaffy .            

6 th Class went to Glasnevin Cemetery, Jump Zone and Liffey Valley on their school tour . Their bus failed to restart after stopping at Apple Green on the way up and this caused some delay . We had a pleasant surprise today when Jakub our fabulous caretaker brought in a pet lamb and 20 week old chickens . We held our prizegiving  ceremony for teams participating in our Sports Day today in our school hall . Mr Grealis announce the winners for trophies & medals in each section.
