Congratulations to all our Scór competitors and winners this year who did the school proud!
Cathal Timlin represented our school with his recitation coached by Mr Seán Grealis. Ms Mannion taught our Figure Dance group.
Ms Gallen taught the music groups, ballad group, and solo singer.

Our solo singer was Caríosa Benson who sang ‘She moved through the Fair’ beautifully. Our Instrumental group (Reuben Cadden, Cathal Timlin, Luca O’Malley, Seán Moran and Alex Brogan) got through to the county final giving us a great performance of the waltz ‘1878’ and Handsome Sally. And finally, congratulations to our Ballad group (Eimear Kelly, Katie O’Malley, Erynn Flynn, Rian Barrett and Greta MC Cormack) who won the county final last Saturday in Moygownagh. They sang beautifully, entertaining the audience with the 2 songs ‘Gartan Mother’s Lullaby’ and ‘Péigín mo Chroí.
All of the children were a pleasure to work with and gave of their best, always mannerly and courteous! Well done to you all…..we, as a school, are very proud of you.
