Pangea Maths Olympiad TCD

A First for Breaffy ! Well done to Mr Duggan & Mr Canny who entered their pupils in the distinguished European Pangea Maths Olympiad . Ben Allen & James Curran in 5th ,Marcus Senzel,Christopher Skilton , Ava Mc Morrow , Saoirse Loftus , Cian Reddington, Aaron Lunn in 6th will register in Trinity College Dublin at 10.30 with the competition taking place before and after lunch. This is a great achievement for them with their talent in maths .
The aim of Pangea Maths Olympiad  is to cultivate a love and appreciation for mathematics among talented pupils .
We congratulate our pupils on the recognition of their talent by a reputable competition organised in 21 countries . This is only the sixth time it is being held in Ireland and our first entry. Our pupils have got through the first round with the top 120 pupils from around the country .
The purpose of the competition is to bring together students of like interests and abilities preparing them for competition and developing their ability to think about and solve complex problems .
