Mr Minogue’s & Mr Maxwell’s Class went to Achill  today for their school tour. Ms Commons , Ms Doherty & Mr Tunney also travelled with them. The weather there looked more promising than the damp morning they left behind them in Breaffy .            

6 th Class went to Glasnevin Cemetery, Jump Zone and Liffey Valley on their school tour . Their bus failed to restart after stopping at Apple Green on the way up and this caused some delay . We had a pleasant surprise today when Jakub our fabulous caretaker brought in a pet lamb and 20 week old chickens . We held our prizegiving  ceremony for teams participating in our Sports Day today in our school hall . Mr Grealis announce the winners for trophies & medals in each section. Teachers from different classes presented the teams with their medals and trophies. We had three past pupils as substitute teachers working here today who presented the prizes also . They […]

Ms O Shea’s class and Ms Mahon’s went to Westport House & Fun Park today for their school tour. They luckily escaped the afternoon showers we had in Breaffy .  

4th Class travelled to Lough Key Forest Park for their school tour. They thoroughly enjoyed Boda Borg experience and even though they had rain in the afternoon it didn’t dampen the mood with everyone enjoying Pizza and chips on the terrace afterwards. 🙂

We had a great day last Tuesday to commemorate the memory of our special past pupil Faye Lavin who passed away unexpectedly 5 years ago in her last few weeks in Breaffy NS .
