We love to integrate what we learn into other lessons and we loved bringing our knowledge of butterflies into our art lessons. We created a visual butterfly lifecycle using different types of pasta. Our 6th class robotics team had great success at the VEX ATU robotics cup in ATU Mayo recently when they scooped the teamwork challenge award after 13 tough matches against teams from around Ireland, including the All-Ireland champions from Donegal. Both 6th classes had a very enjoyable school tour in Dublin recently. We visited Dáil Éireann, had a picnic in St. Stephen’s Green, went to JumpZone and had great fun shopping in Liffey Valley Shopping Centre.
